EVENTSProject PLASE hosts a variety of events throughout the year. These events range from our annual MLK celebration, which recognizes Dr. King for his impact on our culture and society, to our Annual PLASE Picnic, which helps foster a sense of community among our client population. We have information tables about resources for people experiencing homelessness or people who want to get involved. Look for us at the next fair or festival you attend! Examples of places you can find us: university service fairs, neighborhood association block parties, EcoFest events, Flowermart, etc. Purses for PLASE: The Booth to BeatPurses for PLASE was one popular booth this spring at the Flowermart! Both Friday and Saturday we had a steady flow of excited shoppers & return customers who were eager to partake in good deals for a great cause!
Due to the overwhelming success of our booth this year, we will begin collecting new and gently used purses year round.
